From Siena (18 km): Direction Montevarchi trough SS 408 the old chiantigiana road crossing S. Giovanni a Cerreto and Pianella. The bifurcation to San Sano is few km after Pianella the nearest village, on the left side.
From Florence (70Km): Coming down trough the SS 222 Chiantigiana beautiful and tiny road cross Strada in Chianti, Greve, Panzano and Radda and from there to SS 408 to Gaiole. Few km after Gaiole there is a sign to San Sano on the right side. Another route follows the Florenece-Siena autopalio, fast way until Siena Nord that is the main exit for Chainti route
