Hotel Residence San Sano

L 'Hotel Residence San Sano is located in the heart of Chianti in the charming little medieval village of San Sano dating back to 1200 , and close to cultural centers such as Radda in Chianti, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence and Arezzo. The territory is part of Gaiole in Chianti that togheter with Castellina in Chainti and Radda in Chianti is the heart of Senese side of Chianti Classico territory.
The small stone made village San Sano with a characteristic parish and few countryside homes is located along the road of the Castles of Chianti Classico and along the path of the Eroica, event for lovers of cycle tourism.
From the restoration of the village highest tower and other 13th century buildings, arose the Hotel. The residence is a very welcoming environment consisting of 15 comfortable rooms, all with a beautiful view of the green, gentle Chianti hills covered with wide fields of vineyards and olive groves. The rooms are distributed over three levels into the building and every room has its own caractheristic structure. Six rooms have a private terrace with a fantastic Chianti view. A nice pool is located in the large olive garden.  The property itself is surrounded by the vineyards of the Chianti Classico owned by one of the oldest well-known winery, the Marchesi Antinori (1385).

 

In the village of San Sano there is a small grocery shop with a bar for a cappuccino or glass of wine; the inhabitans of San Sano are mainly people involved in the wine production that is still the main business for the local economy.

 

The management and atmosphere of the hotel are very familiar and friendly; Maurizio is always present and tries to make all guests feel at home. Stephanie introduced this year a new management offering more services to the guests.
